How do I compress files/folder? Select a folder to archive from the list on the left pane or Select multiple files/folders from the right pane Click on Create New button on the toolbar Select a name and location to store the zip file. Click Archive button Archive files are saved with .zip extension

How do I restore .zip created by ZipUp or other applications? Select zip file from the right pane Click on Extract button If files are to be extracted to a location other than default location, click on Browse button and select the required location Click on Extract button to extract the contents

How can I add files to the existing zip file? Select the file/folder to add to a zip file Click on Append button Select the zip file to append to Click on open to append selected files

How are zipped files protected? The zip files are protected with a password at the time of creating zip file.

Is ZipUp compatible with zip files created by other applications? Yes, ZipUp is compatible with zip files created by other applications.

How do I zip downloaded files? Open ZipUp application and select the files downloaded and proceed to create a new archive as explained above.

What are the other languages supported by ZipUp? The current version of ZipUp supports English language.

What are the various compression levels available? ZipUp supports three compression levels: Low, Medium and High

How can I rename a file? Select the zip file to rename from the right pane Click on File menu and select Rename Provide the new file name Click OK button to rename the zip file

How can I delete a file? Select the zip file to delete from the right pane Click Delete button on the toolbar Please confirm the delete confirmation message by clicking OK The selected file will be deleted

Will “Zip Up” support all windows environment? ZipUp supports Windows95 and above.
