What is a profile?
A profile is comprised of settings that are
required to execute the synchronization process
using SyncUpPro. The profile with the options
selected will be saved with a ‘.wfs’ extension
and is saved for future use. |

do I create a new profile?

Click on “New” button from
the tool bar

Select the folder to sync

Also choose the given options
in the “ Filters” to
run the sync

Save the profile by clicking “Save” icon
on the tool bar

Yes, you can create multiple profiles. |

How can I
sync files/folders using SyncUpPro?
SyncUpPro allows demand and automatic synchronization
Demand Sync:
- Select folders in the “Source &
Update” tab
- Choose options in the “Filter”
tab
- Select the file extension to exclude or
include
- Save the profile
- Click “Sync” icon on the tool
bar to manually sync the files.
Automated Sync:
- Select folders in the “Source &Update”
tab
- Choose options in the “Filter”
tab
- Select the file extension to exclude or
include
- Save the profile
- Select the time and date to schedule sync
in the “Schedule” tab
- Click the “Schedule Sync” button
in the “Schedule” tab
The synchronization process will be executed
at the specified date and time in the background.

Can I sync
multiple files/ folders?How
Yes .You can synchronize multiple files/folders
by selecting ‘Many to One’ option
in ‘Sync Type’.

What is Include
& Exclude option in SyncUpPro?
You are allowed to perform
either of the options.
Include:

Include option allows you to add/select the
file extensions

The selected file extensions will be included
for synchronization
Exclude:
-
Exclude option allows you to select the file/file
extensions
-
The selected file/files extensions will be
excluded for Sync

Why do I see
the folders highlighted in the application window?
The folders are highlighted
to show the path of the selected folder in the
Source and Update PC. |

Can I sync files of a remote PC?
Yes, you can sync files
of a remote PC.

How can I connect to a remote PC?

Click on the “Connect” icon on
the toolbar to open “Connect Remote
PC” dialog box

You specify the connection type, operating
system, system name and authentication (incase
of Windows 2000/XP)

Enter the PC details and click the “Connect”
button to establish connection

the profile to execute sync ?
Yes, you must save the profile
to execute sync. |

Yes, you have to save
the profile in-order to schedule the process
of synchronization.

& synchronize sub folders?
Using SyncUpPro you can
compare and synchronize sub folders by checking
the option “Include Sub Folders”
in the Filters tab.

extends its support to NTFS and FAT.

should I do if I get a message "remove shares
on remote pc and try again”, When connecting
to a remote PC? Please follow the below
steps:
- Check for all the files and folders that
are open in the source PC
- Close all the files and folders that are
kept open using ‘share’ from remote
PC
- Establish connection between PCs

Can I sync
only single file/folder?How ?
Yes.
By selecting One to One option in ‘Sync
Type’ you can synchronize a
single file/folder.

Does SyncUpPro create subfolders automatically?
SyncUpPro creates subfolders in the selected
folders to syncronize when you enable the ‘Create
subfolders’ option.
I
don’t want to create subfolders,how
can I do that?
You can do that by enabling the ‘Don’t
create subfolders’ option in the ‘Sync
Type’.
